We hired Mike to rebuild and upgrade our deck, and replace front door and shutters. Mike was great to work with on every detail of our crazy screwed up deck. Whatever issue came up, he took care of. He always came over to the house while his carpenters were working to check in with everything. Can't say enough about how pleased we are with the work and the reasonable price.

I would highly recommend J. Dicharia & Sons for any contract work you need done. Mike helped me design my custom kitchen and even brought my vision of a custom cabinet to life. He lists the costs so that you can easily see what the project will entail and you can make design changes, etc when necessary. There were only two items that were unplanned for but we had budgeted for that as there are always items that come up that are unexpected especially with a 20+ year old home. His contractor, George has a keen eye for detail and ensures that the project is done right the first time. If you have any questions or concerns about your project, Mike is very responsive and gets back to you right away. If we ever have any additional remodeling needs, Mike will be the first one we call.

Recently was tasked by a local Saugus Catholic Church, St Margarets Parish, to oversee the construction management of an addition to the church structure to accommodate a handicapped lift. I had received many bids from the archdiocese list of contractors that were WAY higher than anything we had budgeted for. I then asked around in Saugus to seek out a reputable contractor that did good work, was a gentleman to deal with and could price the job fairly. Michael Dichiara of J. Dichiara & Sons was very highly recommended so I sent Mike a set of plans and was very pleased to receive a bid well within our budget. Mike then proceeded to commence on time, perform all the trades with the best of on staff professional employees and excellent hired sub contractors. This was a very difficult job with many "surprises" but Mike never complained or hit us with exorbitant extra costs. Throughout the project Mike continuously communicated the status of the job, made the appropriate changes to the plans, added forces at times when work had to be accelerated, and completed the job to the acclaim of pretty much all of the parishioners. Most say "it looks like it was build with the original building"! I would give Mike Dichiara of J. Dichiara & Sons my absolute highest recommendations! It truly was a joy going to the job site and working out issues together as a team with Mike and then enjoying the results! My thanks, praise, and JOB WELL DONE to you Mike!!!!! God bless you!!

I can't recommend Mike DiChiara & Sons highly enough. They recently remodeled our kitchen and his team (especially George) was extremely detailed oriented. They are old school contractors that don't just want to finish the job to move on to the next - they want to ensure the job is done RIGHT, is solid for years to come and that their customers are HAPPY. Working with Mike to design our kitchen was a fun experience. He could see my vision and made my custom hutch that I showed him from Pinterest pictures come to life :) He is extremely patient, has a calm demeanor and is simply a great guy. If you have George on the job to do the manual labor, know that you are in excellent hands. 5 Stars all around!

These guys were great..!!! Very helpful. Great work for a great price. I felt very comfortable through the whole process.
